Welcome to TE 448 Section 3
Hello everyone! Welcome to our blog spot. Please get a login and write a post about what you have been up to this summer. See you in class on Tuesday!
This summer I attended an MSU study abroad program in Tours, France. I was there for two months from June to August. When I returned to the U.S. I visited a friend in NYC for a week. I had an amazing summer with too many new experiences to count on one hand! I am happy to be home and am looking forward to our TE448 class!
Hi! My name is Gina Ventimiglia and this summer I worked at a summer day camp with 5-11 year olds. It was awesome and I miss all the kids! See you on Tuesday!
Hi! My name is Brianna and I had quite a busy summer. I worked at a day camp at the YMCA with kids from ages 3-13. I also volunteered a weekend at Camp Sunshine for individuals with disabilities ages 15-55. It was an awesome experience. See you all Tuesday!
Hello! My name is Kali Fausett and my sister got married this summer, me being the maid of honor which kept me very busy! I also worked a ton and lived at home in Grand Rapids with my family. See you Tuesday.
Hi, I'm Andrea Robinson. This summer I worked at Impression 5 Sicence Center, a hands on museum. I taught various science topics to 7-10 year olds. Very fun!!! :) See you tuesday!
Hi my name is Julie. I worked for SCAMP this summer. It is a summer camp for children with special needs. I also taught swim lessons. I had a great summer and I am glad to be back at Michigan State! See you Tuesday!
Hi everyone, my name is Kristen Zackery. I basically worked and took classes over the summer. I was involved in a summer camp here at MSU for high school students and I also took a few trips. I look forward to seeing you all in class.
Hi my name is Liz Ladopoulos. This summer I went on vacation to St. Thomas for two weeks and it was amazing! I also worked a ton at a day care center with kids age one to six.
Hi! My name is Colleen Chick. This summer, I returned home to Troy. I worked as a nanny for a family I have worked with for years now. It was a great summer, very relaxing!
Hi, my name is Sara Graef. This summer I took summer I took a trip to New York City. There, I did a lot of shopping and some sight seeing. I stayed right in Times Square. I saw the Brodway musical, Legally Blonde. It was amazing. I also took a trip up north to Petosky and Harbor Springs area, traveling down to Saugatuck. I had a wonderful summer and am excited to begin a new year.
Hi! This summer, I was in Ireland with MSU for 4 weeks. Then my friend and I went to Italy for another ten days. It was a lot of fun and I learned a ton about myself. The rest of the summer I worked at a daycare with toddlers. I was definitely ready to get back to school...!
This summer I traveled to Israel on a birthright trip through Michigan State's Hillel. After my trip I worked at a day camp with 3 year olds, 5 days a week! I loved every minute and cannot believe how fast summer flew by! Looking forward to a good semester though!
This summer I babysat the WHOLE ENTIRE SUMMER! Basically every minute I wasn't sleeping, I was trying to make money for school. At the beginning of summer, I went to the Bonnaroo Music Festival, which was AWESOME! I saw my favorite singer Jack Johnson, and then other bands I love including Ben Folds, Death Cab for Cutie, The Swell Seasons, and my new favorite singer M.I.A. whose concert was the best of the festival!
